Shoushanyan Guanyin Temple is commonly known as “Lingding(ridgetop) Temple.” Established in 1797, it is a temple with long history in Taoyuan City and the religious center of the five pits of Guishan. In 1985, it was designated as a municipal historic site.

Featuring the important faith culture in the life of the settlement, the work is designed with the core concept of Guanyin’s “merciful dew gently spraying through the infinite universe” and cleverly transforms the folk belief into the universal value that brings people peace and harmony through the weaving of different materials.
