Weatherbird Series: Resting Place for Little Terns
Takahito Kimura
Through a weather vane, we become quietly aware of the direction of the wind--something that usually escapes our attention.
There, an invisible flow undeniably exists.
In this place, artificial weather vanes and real birds coexist.
In certain seasons, flocks of little terns arrive.
Each of them momentarily overlaps within the same wind.
When the artificial, the natural, and migratory birds receive the same wind, a subtle point of connection emerges between humans and nature.
