Inspired by the concept of “soft defense” and the history and environment of the venue, soft fabric materials and hard ammunition depots were paired together to facilitate their “interaction.” Inflated, the fabric materials look like a sharp pyramid and the building exterior seems “aggressive.” Deflated, the fabric materials look soft and “approachable.” These characteristics demonstrate the double roles of the Special Police First Headquarters. For this artwork, a humorous and interesting method is used to tell visitors stories about a formal military camp in a relaxed manner.
