Taoyuan is known as the "Thousand-pond City". In order to bring more attention to the ponds, a cute Frog Prince named Croak Croak, based on the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale, was created. The Frog Prince proudly wears his golden crown and holds before him the Princess's golden ball, as an exchange to break the curse.

Born in Dayuan, Taoyuan, Lu was originally an animation director. He highlights local issues through land art. He also organized the 2014 and 2015 Golden City Land Art Festival with his large-scale artwork"The Lost Bear".
