The Claude boat is moving and changing perspectives without direct manipulation by the observer. 
It is moving in ambivalent meanings, being a vehicle for observation and contemplation, as well as an obscure monitoring device.
It questions the issues of human perspective on nature, subjectivity and multiperspectivity as well as observation, omnipresent control and surveillance.

SONJA VORDERMAIER

Sonja VORDERMAIER, born 1973 in Munich, lives and works in Hamburg, Germany. In 2002 she got her master in fine arts at the Art Academy in Hamburg and had numerous shows in Germany, Switzerland and the USA. She won prizes and scholarships, like the Hector Art-prize in Mannheim, the MAK Schindler Scholarship in Los Angeles, or the Hamburg Grant.
