Tide・Boundary

Ming-Huei,Chen

Generated in the intertidal zone where nature and man-made structures meet, this work is inspired by the perforated landscape shaped by the long-term erosion of the Pearl Coast's diverse ecology in Taoyuan. Weathering steel is used to construct a fluid, layered organic volume, translating the traces of time left by hollowed-out spaces and accumulation. The transparency and voids create an accessible sensory field, inviting physical intervention and transforming the act of "viewing" into "walking," allowing one to experience the continuous state of landscape generation and dissipation through movement.
